Ernestine’s can be rented out for private events such as birthday parties: you invite the guests, we plan the meal together, and I host the meal!

I specialize in small scale catering and in-home dinner parties. Have a non-profit board meeting you need lunch for? Want to have a party in the park and need help with the logistics? Having people over for dinner and would rather be present with your guests than trapped in the kitchen? I can help with these situations.

I have also done larger events (100+ people) where I outsourced some of the food preparation.

Planning and hosting parties has been a part of my life since I was old enough to carry a plate across a room. My mother was always having dinner parties at our house, so it is second nature to me.

Baking is the cornerstone of my food practice. I was a professional bread and pastry baker for five years at three different bakeries, so I have a wide range of knowledge in sugar and flour.

Celebratory desserts are a special part of our food culture and I take joy in exploring rituals from around the world to take inspiration from.
